Role Summary
Therapists at Alssaro provide psychotherapy to clients across the lifespan, depending on clinical experience, licensure level, and assigned caseload. This role includes assessment, treatment planning, psychotherapy, documentation, supervision participation, and ongoing clinical collaboration.
The position is designed for clinicians who value ethical care, professional growth, strong supervision, and being part of a collaborative clinical team.

Responsibilities
- Provide psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, or families, depending on clinical experience and assigned caseload
- Complete clinical assessments and gather relevant client history to inform treatment
- Develop, maintain, and update treatment plans based on client needs, goals, diagnosis, and progress
- Use evidence-based and clinically appropriate interventions based on client presentation and scope of practice
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approach as clinically indicated
- Maintain timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and related records
- Communicate professionally with clients, supervisors, team members, and collateral contacts when clinically appropriate and authorized
- Maintain ethical, professional, culturally responsive, and compassionate care
- Participate in individual supervision, group supervision, consultation, and clinical collaboration as appropriate to role and licensure level
- Follow practice policies, legal requirements, professional ethics, and documentation standards
- Maintain professional boundaries and protect client confidentiality
- Contribute to a collaborative, respectful, and learning-focused team environment
Qualifications
- Active New York State licensure or permit as an LMSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, LP-MHC, or LP-MFT required
- Master’s degree in social work, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related eligible clinical field required
- Strong clinical judgment and commitment to ethical practice
- Ability to build rapport and maintain client engagement
- Experience with documentation, treatment planning, and progress notes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-based clinical environment
- Commitment to professional growth, supervision, and high-quality clinical care
- Ability to provide inclusive, respectful, and culturally responsive care
- Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, or families preferred, based on role and caseload needs

Employment Type
Full-time and part-time W-2 positions available.
Salary range 50K-100K per year. Compensation depends on selected compensation model.
