Role Profile

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Project Analyst I (PA I) at either our North Richland Hills, TX, or Austin, TX, locations.

The PA I plays a critical role in supporting the formation and administration of special financing districts throughout Texas. This position is responsible for developing dynamic financial models, preparing district documentation, coordinating project activities, and supporting clients through the district formation and bond issuance process.

This is an externally facing role that requires regular interaction with municipal leaders, developers, financial advisors, attorneys, engineers, and other key stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical, detail-oriented professional who enjoys problem-solving, managing multiple priorities, and contributing to meaningful projects that impact communities across Texas.

Project Analysis and Financial Modeling

  • Collect, organize, and analyze financial and development data for multiple infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare financial analyses and models that support district formation, bond issuances, and municipal decision-making.
  • Draft district-related documents and project materials using established templates and processes.
  • Review external documents related to district formation, financing, and bond transactions for completeness and accuracy.
  • Identify and escalate potential financial, compliance, or project risks.

Project Coordination and Stakeholder Support

  • Support Regional Directors and Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate information gathering and communication among internal and external stakeholders for 5+ projects concurrently.
  • Attend and actively participate in client meetings and prepare detailed meeting notes and follow-up action items.
  • Assist with the proactive management of all aspects of assigned projects from analysis to document preparation through stakeholder coordination, implementation, and final delivery.
  • Participate in city council meetings and other public meetings as assigned.

Process Improvement and Documentation

  • Follow established standard operating procedures, templates, and project workflows.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project information within company systems and dashboards.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Support special projects and departmental initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Urban Planning, or a related field.
  • 0–3 years of professional experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to build, maintain, analyze, and interact with dynamic spreadsheets and financial models.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects.
  • Adaptable and responsive to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and continuously improve.

Preferred

  • Experience in government affairs, public finance, economic development, infrastructure development, municipal consulting, or urban planning.
  • Experience working with financial models, project management tools, or business intelligence systems.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and technology solutions that improve workflow efficiency.
