Job Summary
The Strategic Marketing Specialist II is responsible for supporting and executing strategic marketing initiatives that advance organizational goals, increase brand recognition, enhance public health outreach, and support business development efforts across diverse audiences and industries. Under minimal supervision, this role collaborates cross-functionally to develop, implement, and refine marketing and communication strategies, campaigns, and content aligned with organizational priorities. Responsibilities include creating and tailoring marketing materials for targeted audiences, supporting media and outreach plans, and may include assisting with press releases, public relations efforts, SEO/SEM strategies, and social media initiatives where appropriate. The position monitors program performance and key metrics, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize marketing effectiveness and inform future strategic initiatives. Additional responsibilities may include website content updates, advertising and promotional support, and ensuring projects are executed within established budget considerations. This role requires strong communication, project management, analytical, and collaborative skills, along with the ability to balance creative strategy with measurable outcomes.
Essential Functions
- Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of strategic marketing campaigns and initiatives that support organizational growth, public health outreach, business development objectives, and increased brand recognition across diverse audiences and industries. (35%)
- Develop and manage marketing materials and communication assets including digital content, presentations, brochures, flyers, website content, press releases, media announcements, and promotional materials for both internal and external audiences. (25%)
- Support and maintain digital marketing initiatives including website updates, marketing automation platforms, SEO/SEM efforts, email campaigns, and social media activities where appropriate to improve visibility, engagement, and user experience. (10%)
- Manage marketing-related projects, timelines, budgets, vendor relationships, and contractual deliverables to ensure initiatives are executed effectively, efficiently, and in alignment with organizational goals and strategic marketing plans. (10%)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, operations, business development teams, clinical stakeholders, and external partners to develop accurate, audience-focused marketing content, communications, and outreach strategies aligned with organizational priorities and brand standards. (10%)
- Coordinate and support marketing activities related to conferences, trade shows, community outreach events, presentations, and educational forums, including vendor coordination, promotional materials, and stakeholder engagement. (5%)
- Monitor, analyze, and report on marketing campaign performance, audience engagement, website traffic, utilization trends, and other key metrics using data-driven insights and analytics tools to refine strategies and improve outcomes. (5%)
Education
- Bachelor's Degree Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field Required
- or equivalent level of additional related experience
Work Experience
- 1-3 years Three years experience healthcare marketing and/or communications programs Required
Licenses
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- Microsoft Office
- Experience in Social Media platforms and Adobe Creative Suite
- Customer Relations Management Systems
- Google Analytics, Marketing Automation platforms and other web-based technologies
