Director of Ticketing

Union Omaha

Reports to: Senior Director of Sales

Direct reports: Manager, Ticket Operations; Ticket Sales Representatives; dotted-line oversight of Manager, Data & Analytics

Location: Omaha, NE — Morrison Stadium

Position Summary

The Director of Ticketing is the lead seller on Union Omaha's ticket sales floor. This is a player-coach role with an aggressive individual sales goal — the Director is expected to carry the largest book of business on the team and lead by example through high-volume activity, complex deal closing, and personal ownership of major season membership, group, and premium accounts. The Director also leads the Ticket Sales Representatives, oversees ticket operations, and partners with marketing on single-game ticket revenue. While rep development and team leadership matter, the primary focus of this role is being the most productive seller in the building.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry an aggressive individual ticket sales quota and personally close the largest share of new season memberships, group sales, and premium business on the team.
  • Lead by example on the sales floor — high outbound activity, stadium tours, in-person meetings, and complex deal closing visible to the rep team every day.
  • Coach and develop the Ticket Sales Representatives — set KPIs, run weekly 1:1s, ride along on calls and meetings, and drive activity standards — while remaining the team's top producer.
  • Oversee the Manager of Ticket Operations to ensure clean ticket builds, accurate seat manifests, single-game ticket operations, and a strong service experience for members and group buyers.
  • Partner with marketing on single-game ticket revenue strategy, including campaign briefs, promotional pricing windows, themed-game packaging, and lead generation.
  • Partner with the Manager of Data & Analytics (dotted line) on pricing, dynamic adjustments, segmentation, lead scoring, and renewal forecasting.
  • Own the season-ticket member renewal campaign end-to-end, including service touchpoints, retention strategy, and lapsed-member win-back.
  • Develop group sales strategy targeting youth soccer clubs, schools, faith-based organizations, corporate buyers, and community partners across the Omaha and Council Bluffs market.
  • Provide accurate weekly pacing reports and monthly revenue forecasts to the Senior Director of Sales.
  • Plan ticket product strategy for the new stadium opening, including seat map design, member-onboarding journeys, and premium hospitality offerings.
