Electrical Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Electrical Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Carson CA 90746. We’re ideally looking for applicants to have a solid background in Production.

Pay Range: $55- $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Summary

The Electrical Engineer 3 creates (leads) systems design of aircraft interior products such as bins, galleys, lavatories, closets and ceiling panels used in commercial and private aircrafts using a computer aided drafting system. The Electrical Engineer 3 reports to the Electrical Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities

• Produce innovative systems design 3D models and 2D drawings of aircraft interior products within technical specification and project requirements.
• Work closely with project engineers to complete engineering deliverables per project schedule and budget.
• Drive the use of Company standard parts and design in product development.
• Drive 3D models and 2D drawings all the way from creation through release to ensure project schedules are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years related experience in aerospace or electrical engineering design.
• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Electrical background
• PCB , testing, design circuits
• Strong knowledge of CAD & PLM Systems.
