SUMMARY

Assist Food Service Site Supervisor in managing and coordinating the operation of a large and/or multiple food service production/service unit(s). Prepares and serves food. Position hours are adjusted throughout the year based on customer participation volume.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate’s degree in institutional or restaurant management OR Completion of a Food Service-related Certification Program, which includes course work in personnel management, marketing or customer service, quantity food production and food service sanitation AND Two (2) years food service production experience OR Four (4) years of food service institutional or restaurant management experience, which includes two years of food service production experience; and coursework in personnel management, marketing, or customer service
  • Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.

REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO START DATE

  • FBI fingerprint background check
  • Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization
  • Completion of a Health Department Food Service Operator’s Certificate within three months from date of hire
  • Post-offer/pre-employment physical exam and 50lb lift test

Classification: Supervisory Professional

FTE: 1.0 – 8 hours per day

Work Calendar: 10 month

  • 4 Positions Available: (1) Cholla High School, (2) Floating, and (1) Roberts/Naylor K-8

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.
