Salary Range: $60,000–$65,000

Reports To: State Director

Safe Families for Children Wisconsin is hiring a Chippewa Valley Site Director to help launch and lead a new Safe Families movement in the Eau Claire area.

About Safe Families for Children

Safe Families for Children is a faith-rooted organization dedicated to keeping children safe and families together. Through a network of compassionate volunteers, SFFC supports families facing social isolation, crisis, and instability with the goal of preventing child abuse, reducing child welfare involvement, and helping families stabilize before challenges become deeper system involvement.

About the Role

The Site Director will lead the operations and development of the Safe Families for Children site in the Chippewa Valley. This role is responsible for building community partnerships, recruiting and equipping volunteers and church partners, coordinating family support services, supporting fundraising efforts, and helping grow a sustainable local site.

This position is ideal for a strong, mission-driven leader who is organized, relational, self-motivated, and passionate about children, families, and community-based prevention.

Key Responsibilities

The Site Director will:

  • Lead the development and daily operations of the Chippewa Valley Safe Families site
  • Build and strengthen referral relationships with community partners
  • Recruit, train, and support volunteers and church partners
  • Coordinate family support services in alignment with the Safe Families model
  • Develop and maintain donor and community stakeholder relationships
  • Plan and execute fundraising efforts and community engagement activities
  • Oversee program quality, resources, communication, and site sustainability
  • Represent the mission and vision of Safe Families for Children in the local community

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills
  • Experience building community partnerships and donor relationships
  • Ability to develop and execute fundraising events
  • Excellent communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, delegate effectively, and meet deadlines
  • Experience with program coordination and strategic planning
  • Knowledge of social services, child welfare, ministry, or nonprofit operations preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Nonprofit Management, or a related field preferred
