Quality Engineer

We are helping our client, a global manufacturer of advanced interconnect and antenna solutions serving the automotive industry, find a direct hire on-site Quality Engineer.

• Full Time on-site role in Brighton, MI

• Title: Quality Engineer

• MUST be authorized to work in the US without current or future sponsorship

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related engineering discipline strongly preferred

• Candidates without a degree will only be considered if they possess exceptionally strong Operations and Manufacturing experience

• Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong experience with Root Cause Analysis, APQP, FMEA, and other automotive quality methodologies

• Experience working with automotive OEM supplier portals

• Expertise supporting at least one major OEM such as GM, Ford, Tesla, Rivian, or Lucid

• Ability to work cross-functionally with R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Customer Service, and Sales teams

• Experience supporting customer quality concerns, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Self motivated, hands on, and able to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Experience with antenna products or RF related manufacturing

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for improving quality systems, processes, and manufacturing efficiency

• Experience developing and reporting quality metrics, cost of quality, and customer satisfaction metrics
