Associate Attorney – Collections/Creditor Rights

ABOUT Quall Cardot LLP : Quall Cardot is a very busy civil litigation, transactional, construction, employment, and collections law firm. Our clients range from individuals and small business to large corporations. Our Collections Division provides collections services to large publicly and privately held financial institutions.

ABOUT ROLE: Quall Cardot is looking to add a highly competent and detail-oriented Collections Associate Attorney to its growing legal team and creditor’s rights practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a new attorney looking to gain significant experience in civil litigation -- from the initial stages of the collections process through post-judgment remedies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Pre-Trial Litigation (reviewing demand letters, complaints, dispositive motions, requests for default judgment)

- Pre-Trial Negotiation (interfacing with opposing counsel, clients in contested litigation)

-Work closely with legal assistants, paralegals, and attorneys in collaborative environment

REQUIREMENTS

· JD

· Licensed to practice law in California

· 0-1 years of legal experience. No experience necessary, full training provided.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Proven ability to organize, prioritize and manage a variety of tasks simultaneously
