File Clerk/ Legal Assistant/ Secretary

We are seeking responsible, organized, and proactive individuals to join our team as File Clerks/ Legal Assistants/ Secretaries. (Part-Time or Full-Time)
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet clients & provide necessary paperwork
- Answer & direct phone calls
- Collect & deliver mail
- Confirm case statuses
- Compose & edit correspondence
- Schedule appointments
- File documents & maintain binders / file room
- Assist with binder preparation for proceedings
- Initiate & monitor medical & billing records/requests
- Order certified copies from court
- Order abstracts of judgment
- Monitor orders & citations to ensure timely signatures
- Review filings to ensure our file is up to date
- Operate & troubleshoot office equipment as needed
- Trial & litigation support
• Minimum of 2-4 years' experience as a File Clerk/ Legal Assistant/ Secretary in a law firm setting
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and legal document formatting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred but not required)
