Qualifications
- Valid California teaching credential authorizing service in area of assignment
- Five years successful classroom teaching experience
- Experience working with diverse learnings in English Language Arts and/or Mathematics
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others
- Experience providing professional development to staff and implementation of the coaching cycle
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Specialized training in reading/language arts, math or English Language Development (ELD) preferred
REPORTS TO: Principal
JOB GOAL: To provide expertise and supplemental support to staff at the school site level for the full implementation of the instructional program; monitors site actions, professional development and budget to aligned with the School Plan for Student Achievement
Performance Responsibilities
- Supports implementation of state and federal categorically-funded programs, grant funded programs, school and district initiatives
- Works with teachers to help analyze and improve instructional practices (i.e. coaching cycle)
- Identifies, reclassifies, and provides supports for English Learners
- Supports the development and implementation of Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA)
- Provides instructional resources to support intervention and enrichment Programs
- Supports teachers with development of students' critical thinking, problem solving, creative, collaborative and communication skills at high levels to shape resilient learners
- Triangulates school wide data to identify areas of student needs and provide supplemental support for students
- Provides leadership in planning and implementing instructional professional learning opportunities for school staff
- Participates in parent involvement activities, events and committees as member of site leadership team
- Assists with administration of all school site, District and state assessments
- Assists with school data collection and analysis
- Meets regularly with site administration, teachers and district instructional support staff to further communication and strengthen instructional support to school staff
- Maintains necessary budgets, records and files; prepares required reports
- Models personal and professional values of equity, integrity, caring, collaboration, personal and collective accountability
- Performs other related duties as assigned
SALARY: $78,145 - $133,656 annually (190 day. Max. salary include educational stipends)
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the District's "Improvement of Professional Services" handbook, Board Policies and Procedures and consistent with collective bargaining agreements when applicable.

Conditions Of Employment
Some positions may require proof of privately owned automobile insurance and the possession of a valid California Motor Vehicle operator's license. Fingerprint clearance by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met. Must present verification of completion of Child Abuse Mandated Reporter training or obtain verification within six (6) weeks of hire and annually thereafter, as required by the California Child Abuse Neglect Reporting Act.
