This one is about helping ensure quality is built into every stage of the fabrication process.

The company is looking for a Certified Welding Inspector who can work closely with welders, production, and engineering teams to ensure structural steel projects meet the highest quality standards. You'll play a key role in verifying weld quality, maintaining compliance, and helping identify issues before they become costly problems.

Success in this role isn't measured by the number of inspections completed. It's measured by your ability to uphold quality standards and help deliver safe, reliable structural steel projects.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform weld inspections to AWS, ASME, ISO, and client standards

• Conduct visual, dimensional, and NDT inspections (VT, PT, MT, UT)

• Interpret welding procedures, drawings, and specifications

• Identify and resolve quality concerns with production teams

• Maintain inspection records and reports

• Audit welding processes for compliance and best practices

What We're Looking For

• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) required

• Experience in structural steel, shipbuilding, or heavy fabrication

• Strong knowledge of AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX, and related codes

• Experience with NDT methods (ASNT Level I/II preferred)

• Ability to read weld symbols, drawings, and blueprints
