36 hours/week 8am-8:30pm 12 hour shifts, every third weekend

A Brief Overview

Responsible for the decontamination, cleaning, storing and distribution of Patient Medical Equipment and devices. Must demonstrate knowledge of inventory maintenance, and be able to restock inventory and par locations. Pick up and return items to decontamination room for reprocessing.

Essential Functions

  • Decontaminate, and clean soiled patient medical devices according to prescribed procedures and aseptic techniques.
  • Assist in pick up and collect soiled patient equipment and bring them to designated cleaning area following the designated
  • Redistribute cleaned patient medical devices to an established equipment par location by unit.
  • Inspects, monitors, and verifies patient medical equipment is in good working condition; removes from service for repair and/or maintenance.
  • Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job
  • Perform physical requirements as described in the Physical Requirements section

Education Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED Required

Experience Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in hospital supply, preparing and distributing medical supplies and equipment Required
