CTO / Co - Founder

Supplied Talent

Our client is a funded, early-stage AI company building at the intersection of healthcare, payments, and revenue cycle management. The company is developing an AI-enabled platform designed to transform how healthcare organizations manage payment, claims, and financial workflows—reducing manual work, improving accuracy, and accelerating reimbursement cycles.

They are seeking an exceptional CTO Co-Founder to own the full technology vision: architecting the platform, building and launching the initial product, and recruiting the founding engineering team. This is a hands-on, builder role—not advisory.

WHAT YOU'LL BUILD

The platform will leverage AI, workflow automation, and secure data integrations to improve financial operations across the healthcare ecosystem. Core focus areas include:

  • Claims and payment workflow automation
  • Provider-payer financial operations and reconciliation
  • Revenue cycle and reimbursement workflows
  • Denials management and payment exception handling
  • Healthcare data ingestion and normalization
  • Secure integrations with billing, claims, and payment systems
  • AI-assisted decisioning and operational intelligence

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own the technology vision, architecture, and engineering roadmap
  • Build and launch the initial MVP and iterate to a scalable commercial product
  • Evaluate and select the full technical stack
  • Design secure, scalable systems purpose-built for healthcare payment workflows
  • Build AI-enabled workflow automation into the product from day one
  • Lead integrations with healthcare, claims, payment, billing, and data systems
  • Recruit and lead the early engineering team
  • Partner directly with the CEO, investors, advisors, and early customers

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of engineering experience with a track record of building from zero to one
  • Founder or early technical leadership experience at a startup (preferred, not required)
  • Structured CS/engineering training; graduate of a top-tier institution preferred
  • Experience in high-growth startups or complex technical organizations (e.g., Palantir, health-tech scale-up)
  • Ability to personally build while recruiting and growing a team
  • Strong product instincts; comfort working with customers, commercial leaders, and investors
  • Background in healthcare technology, payments/fintech, RCM, or a regulated, data-heavy environment
  • Bias toward action and comfort operating with ambiguity

RELEVANT BACKGROUNDS

Strong candidates may come from:

  • Healthcare technology / health-tech SaaS
  • Revenue cycle management or claims technology
  • Payments, fintech, or financial infrastructure
  • AI workflow automation or enterprise software
  • Data infrastructure or healthcare interoperability
  • Provider, payer, billing, or financial operations platforms
  • B2B SaaS with complex integrations and regulated data environments
