Our client is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join their executive leadership team in Lincoln, Nebraska. This is a strategic, hands-on role responsible for overseeing the bank’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, liquidity management, and asset liability management. Working closely with the Controller, the CFO will ensure accurate financial statements regulatory reporting, and strong financial controls throughout the organization. The CFO will lead ALCO meetings, oversee interest rate risk reporting, manage the bank’s liquidity position and daily cash settlements, and partner with ALM consultants on hedging and derivative strategies. Given the bank’s sizable mortgage portfolio, experience with interest rate risk management is highly desirable. This individual will also work closely with the Chief Compliance Officer and external auditors on regulatory and audit matters. Qualified candidates should have 10 plus years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including at least five years in a leadership role, preferable within banking or financial services. A strong understanding of bank regulatory requirements, GAAP, financial reporting and ALM is required. CPA preferred but not required.
