ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a full-time Head of Ecommerce to lead the next stage of online growth for Insomnia Visuals.
You can be either hybrid in LA or remote. Our HQ is in DTLA.
This role owns our DTC revenue engine across paid acquisition, website performance, retention, reporting, campaign execution, TikTok Shop, affiliate, influencer, loyalty, and performance content.
The right person is strategic, analytical, and operational.
You have also seen what going from $5M-->$50M in DTC looks like from the inside.
You should be able to set the ecommerce growth plan, manage the team executing it, and quickly identify what is working, what is not working, and what needs to change. All while balancing the effect of growth on brand identity and cultural relevance.
You will manage our paid ads, retention, and performance marketing team members, while coordinating with content, product, operations, agencies, freelancers, creators, and vendors.
We are looking for someone with experience inside a product-based ecommerce company, ideally fashion, beauty, footwear, accessories, or another high-SKU, visually driven consumer brand.
This role reports directly to the CEO.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own DTC revenue, ecommerce performance, and growth strategy.
- Own weekly reporting across revenue, MER, ROAS, CAC, CVR, AOV, LTV, retention, and launch performance.
- Manage ecommerce dashboards, insights, and action plans.
- Lead website performance, merchandising, homepage updates, collection pages, PDPs, landing pages, and offers.
- Own CRO strategy across site experience, product pages, checkout flow, bundles, upsells, and landing pages.
- Oversee paid acquisition across Meta, TikTok, Google, and other performance channels.
- Manage the paid ads lead and ensure spend, creative, and reporting are aligned.
- Manage the retention lead and ensure lifecycle marketing supports revenue goals.
- Own TikTok Shop growth, including affiliates, product selection, promotions, content, and reporting.
- Build Pinterest organic as a long-term discovery and traffic channel.
- Own performance content needs for paid ads, TikTok Shop, retention, and landing pages.
- Manage UGC/content pipeline.
- Coordinate product launches across website, paid ads, email/SMS, TikTok Shop, affiliates, and influencers.
- Work with brand director on influencer strategy, including seeding, paid collaborations, creator relationships, and tracking.
- Own the affiliate program, including recruitment, offers, communication, commissions, and reporting.
- Own the loyalty program, including rewards, segmentation, customer retention, and performance.
- Work with product and womenswear teams to align marketing around drops, hero SKUs, and inventory.
- Work with operations to ensure campaigns match inventory, fulfillment, and launch readiness.
- Manage agencies, freelancers, vendors, and external ecommerce partners.
- Create clear systems, calendars, owners, KPIs, and deadlines for the ecommerce team.
- Present results, insights, and next steps in leadership meetings.
- Stay ahead of ecommerce, fashion, Gen Z, social, creator, and digital marketing trends.

REQUIREMENTS
- 6-8+ years of ecommerce, growth, performance marketing, or digital leadership experience.
- Experience inside a product-based ecommerce company is required.
- Fashion, beauty, footwear, accessories, streetwear, or lifestyle experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of DTC ecommerce, Shopify, CRO, paid media, retention, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of Gen Z consumers, social commerce, creator marketing, and visual product marketing.
- Experience managing paid ads, retention, affiliates, influencers, creators, agencies, or ecommerce teams.
- Ability to read data, diagnose issues, and turn insights into action.
- Experience managing high-SKU catalogs, product launches, and merchandising-heavy websites.
- Strong organization, communication, and team management skills.
- Comfortable owning revenue targets, KPIs, and team accountability.

COMPENSATION
- $160k - $200k per year plus bonus incentives tied to performance
- Final compensation will depend on ecommerce experience, leadership ability, and proven results.
