about this team
Our Global Distribution teams are part of our greater lululemon Supply Chain
organization. This team supports lululemon’s overall purpose by ensuring we are
fulfilling our products to our guests through our various channels including our retail
stores and ecommerce. Reporting to the Director of Distribution Operations, the Senior
Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all DC operations for a
particular shift/department within a campus. They lead their DC operations teams,
ensuring efficient DC operations and SLA attainment, all while hitting their key safety,
service, quality, and cost goals plus driving employee engagement and enhancing our
culture and employee experience. The Senior Warehouse Operations Manager
contributes to the annual business plan and manages to a budget that effectively
allocates resources to meet and exceed financial and business objectives. They act as
a coach to the Warehouse Operations Managers on their development to build their
talent pipeline. They do this by actively developing their people through vision and
goals, coaching and feedback.
core responsibilities
- Directs and oversees all aspects of a building shift or a significant department(s)
within a large building - example: may run large volume E-commerce
department, or night shift.
- Supports the Distribution Center Director in creating and implementing operating
and strategic plans to drive continuous improvements.
- Effectively helps to set and manage the annual budget to meet or exceed set
targets.
- Responsible for Anaplan inputs for Network Planning: weekly SI updates to the
Project Management group, feedback, and input to engineering on labor
Internalstandards for process improvements, ensuring performance management is
occurring and consistent.
- Responsible for approving labor and workforce planning for Warehouse
Operations Manager’s department.
- Responsible for all aspects of talent management for their salaried direct reports
and their results including hiring, training, annual review process, performance
management, development and coaching, engagement, off boarding and
rewards and recognition.
- Identify, hire, develop, and manage talent, including building and delivering
succession planning across the building shift or department.
- Responsible for partnering with Health and Safety and Asset Protection and
People and Culture on employee concerns for their direct reports that require
escalation.
- Responsible for effective communication flow to Warehouse Operations
Managers.
- Responsible for collaboration with all support teams - Health and Safety, Asset
Protection, People and Culture, Engineering, IT, Logistics, Network Strategy,
Quality, Logistics, Labor Planning, etc.
- Responsible for large scope Strategic initiatives and projects within the scope of
building shift, large department, or building.
- Responsible for continuous improvement with the scope of building shift, large
department, or building.
- Responsible for strategic initiatives outlined from the Project Management group.
- Implement, teach and lead lean methodology to drive operational efficiency.
- Approves Warehouse Operations Managers expenses.
- Supports with annual DC compensation review.
- Supports with labor law and health and safety compliance for their area.
- Supports Director with developing the facility strategy and multi-year roadmap.
- Supports with communicating process alignment between N. America DC
locations.
- Supports with presentations to S. Leadership (Directors, VP, SVP and SLT).
- Supports with accounts payable invoicing.
- Champions and leads through lululemon’s IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and
Action) initiatives and values.
qualifications
- 7-10 years of leadership experience in a Distribution Center or similar
environment - preferably in a fast paced, high growth environment.
- 5 years of direct people management experience of hourly and salaried
employees.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations
or relevant on the job years of experience.
Internal• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Warehouse Management System and Labor
Management System experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of cross-functional departments and ability to work with
partners across fulfillment on solutions.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently.
- Ability to maintain a safe work environment.
- Flexible and adaptable with schedule which could include nights, working
required holidays, some weekends with occasional after-hours requirements and overtime.

compensation and benefits package
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $144,100 - $189,100 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
