Role Description

The Program Manager- Prevention & Sustainability is responsible for the implementation of the Safety for All Primary Prevention Project, as well as core fundraising activities to sustain impact. This dual-focus position splits time between cultivating critical community relationships to advance sexual violence prevention within the disability community and driving priority fundraising activities for organizational sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

Program Management: Safety for All Primary Prevention Project Implementation (75%- 3 Dedicated Days a Week)

  • Stakeholder Cultivation: Conduct outreach to build and maintain strategic relationships with Maricopa County stakeholders, including disability focused youth organizations, schools, law enforcement, and healthcare systems.
  • Community Presentations: Deliver targeted information session presentations on the Safety for All Primary Prevention Project (SFA-PPP) to strengthen multidisciplinary community responses.
  • Model Fidelity: Ensure all project operations strictly adhere to the Close to Home implementation model per BLOOM365’s ADHS SVPEP grant application.
  • Coalition Logistics: Coordinate and manage all logistics for community coalition meetings.
  • Summit: Assist with the planning and promotion of the annual Safety for All Summit.
  • Data & Reporting: Manage programmatic data collection and reporting requirements with operational assistance from the Deputy Director.
  • Other Duties: Other prevention activities as assigned.

Strategic Fundraising & Sustainability: Cultivation & Solicitation(25%- 1 Dedicated Day a Week)

  • Donor Cultivation: Develop and implement a "moves management" system to identify, cultivate, solicit, and thank individual donors.
  • Corporate & Community Partners: Identify and pitch local brands for sponsorships and "cause-marketing" collaborations aligned with creating accessible "safe spaces."
  • Event & Campaign Management: Lead the planning and execution of signature volunteer-led annual events and other campaigns, including:
  • Empathy Awards (First Friday in October)
  • Gift of Love Holiday Party & Annual Campaign Kick Off (December)
  • Tee It Up for Teens Golf Outing (First Friday in February)
  • 365 Salon & Spa Campaign (First Friday in April)
  • Summit Sponsorship Appeals
  • Digital Fundraising: Manage online giving platforms and lead social media-driven campaigns (e.g., Arizona Gives Day, Giving Tuesday, AZ Tax Credit, and the Gift of Love 365 Circle).
  • Grant Support: Collaborate with the CEO and programs team to research grant opportunities, collaborate on proposal writing, and gather data for foundation grant reporting.
  • Database Management: Maintain accurate database records to ensure clean donor history tracking, targeted appeals, and mailing lists.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field required.
  • Two or more years of experience in project coordination, special events planning, and fund development within a non-profit setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management.
  • Proven experience developing systems and processes to streamline operations.
  • Lived Experience (Strongly Preferred) We operate under the disability rights principle of "Nothing about us without us," the belief that survivors with disabilities are the ultimate experts on their own needs. As such, lived experience with the intersection of interpersonal violence and disability is strongly preferred to ensure the Safety for All Primary Prevention Project is authentically informed and directly guided by the community we serve.
