Summary of Job
This role is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, across two facilities totaling approximately 200,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehousing space. The site specializes in machine assembly, refurbishment, and new product implementation, supported by a dedicated team focused on solving complex protective packaging challenges.
Reporting to the Sr. Engineering Manager, the Industrial Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and reviewing the procedures and equipment involved in the Industrial process.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Analyze workflows, processes, and operational data to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
- Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste, improve flow, and enhance productivity
- Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, and workflow optimization to improve labor efficiency and throughput
- Design and optimize workflows, layouts, and process standards to improve overall operational performance
- Develop, maintain, and standardize work instructions and process documentation to ensure consistency
- Identify, standardize, and scale best practices across operations
- Support PFMEA, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to improve process reliability and quality
- Execute implementation of engineering changes into production
- Balance multiple projects concurrently while supporting cross-functional initiatives
- Domestic travel will be required periodically
Competency (Knowledge, skills, and abilities)
- Strong knowledge of Industrial Engineering principles, including process optimization and workflow analysis
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel required; ERP systems such as SAP preferred)
- Experience with process mapping, value stream mapping, and performance metrics (e.g., OEE, throughput)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence outcomes across teams

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or other engineering disciplines considered
- Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification or at least 3 years of experience applying Lean/Six Sigma principles and tools preferred
