Knowledge of current trends, research, and best practices related to secondary, vocational, and adult education. Ability to read and interpret applicable laws, rules, policies, and procedures. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Skill in human interaction and conflict resolution. Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize. Ability to analyze, interpret, and use data in decision making. Ability to make presentations to a variety of audiences. Ability to use computer hardware and software. Ability to develop and manage budgets. Knowledge of School Board policies that relate to the job function. Ability to work flexible hours.
