We're Hiring

The El Paso County 911 District is seeking an experienced Data Systems & Applications Administrator to join our Technology Services team supporting mission-critical public safety systems across our region.

This is not a traditional database administrator role. We are looking for a seasoned technical professional with deep expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, business intelligence, reporting, data security, and enterprise application support. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, solving complex technical challenges, and serving as a trusted resource for both technical and operational stakeholders.

SQL Server Administration & Performance Tuning

Power BI, SSRS, SSIS & Enterprise Reporting

Data Warehousing & Analytics

Role-Based Security & Access Management

Database Design, Optimization & Troubleshooting

CAD, RMS & Public Safety Technology Support

Multi-Agency / Multi-Tenant System Environments

Application Integrations, Upgrades & Vendor Coordination

CJIS & Security-Focused Operations

We're particularly interested in candidates with 5+ years of progressively responsible experience, with 7+ years highly desirable, supporting enterprise databases, business intelligence platforms, and mission-critical applications.

Experience in public safety, emergency communications, CAD, RMS, law enforcement, fire, EMS, or other critical infrastructure environments is highly valued.
