Administrative Assistant
Albany Fund for Education

This is a part-time position (12-15 hours a week) at $25/hour. Work will primarily be on-site in our downtown Albany Central Ave office (parking available, on multiple bus routes). While we would like this position to establish a regular schedule within the hours of 9-3, M-F, we also understand that flexibility is one of the benefits we *can* provide and will work with candidates to find a schedule that works for them. For example, hours may be concentrated during the school year with limited work during school breaks. There will also be very occasional evening/weekend hours needed for special events such as AFE’s annual gala.

AFE is an equal opportunity employer and seeks to maintain a staff/board profile that reflects the diversity of our school district. Statistics show that people with marginalized identities often do not apply for positions when they do not meet all qualifications. We encourage you to push past the imposter syndrome and apply anyway.
Our office is located in a building where programs for children take place. In order to assure the safety of children in the building, a background check and fingerprints will be required before a job offer can be finalized.
Please submit resume and cover letter indicating how these focus areas match your qualifications and experience. Applications should be emailed to ***email_hidden***. Review of applications will begin June 22 until filled; anticipated start date around August 1, 2026.
