As a hospital-employed Psychology Faculty provider, you will join a collaborative Behavioral Health team dedicated to serving the mental health needs of our rapidly growing and diverse community. Position Highlights

• Standard Monday through Friday schedule with no call responsibilities.
• Balanced allocation of responsibilities, with approximately 80% dedicated to clinical practice and 20% dedicated to educational and academic activities.
• Provide psychological services to a diverse inpatient behavioral health population, with an approximate 50/50 mix of adult and adolescent patients.
• Collaborate with a supportive, multidisciplinary Behavioral Health team committed to high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Opportunity to develop and expand psychotherapy components of the Psychiatry Residency Program while enhancing access to evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions within the Yuma community.
• Serve as Psychology Faculty with responsibility for curriculum development, didactic instruction, and active participation in the educational experience of psychiatry residents.
• Demonstrate a commitment to teaching and supervising psychiatry residents and graduate medical education trainees through resident mentorship, academic advising, and clinical supervision.
• Participate in an academically focused environment dedicated to education, collaboration, scholarly development, and the delivery of evidence-based patient care.

Requirements

• PHD Degree
• Completion of an APA-Accredited Internship
• Must obtain Arizona State medical licensure prior to starting the position
• Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Onvida health
