We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Software Designer to join our engineering team. This role focuses on developing, integrating, and commissioning automation control systems for custom machinery.

You'll be responsible for:

Designing and developing PLC and PC-based control software

Debugging and commissioning control systems at facility and customer sites

Integrating robotics, motion controllers, sensors, vision systems, lasers, and automation technologies

Collaborating with engineering teams, customers, and project stakeholders to deliver complete automation solutions

Providing technical documentation, troubleshooting support, and customer training

Requirements

5+ years of experience in a custom automation/OEM environment

Engineering degree/diploma in Electrical, Systems, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience)

Strong PLC programming, robotics, controls, and automation troubleshooting skills

Hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical systems

Ability to travel approximately 30% for installations, commissioning, and training
