Front - End Engineer

Location: TX-Frisco, Hybrid 3-4 days onsite

Overview: Every Turnberry consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services Turnberry offers to clients. As a Front-End Engineer, you will join Turnberry's Data Strategy and Intelligence practice and service. This service provides insights into company data, advanced analytics solutions, robust data governance, and tailored solutions for specific data challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Help establish our front-end stack, standards, and component patterns from the ground up
  • Translate UX concepts, wireframes, and product requirements into production-ready code
  • Create intuitive, high-performance interfaces that enable users to make decisions and take action using data
  • Develop reusable UI components and contribute to design systems
  • Partner directly with users, the product managers, data engineers, and our MLOps team to shape how products get built and shipped, not just implement tickets
  • Ensure applications are scalable, performant, and accessible
  • Incorporate user feedback, testing, and iteration into product improvements
  • Take ownership of building products from early concept through delivery and iteration

Qualifications

  • 5+ years building and shipping production front-end applications, with a demonstrated ability to operate independently and own solutions from concept through delivery
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity, make trade-offs, and move forward without perfect requirements
  • Strong experience building production front-end applications with React and TypeScript (solid JavaScript, HTML, and CSS fundamentals)
  • Experience integrating front-end applications with APIs and data services
  • Experience translating UX concepts into functional, high-quality applications
  • Experience collaborating across engineering, product, and business teams
  • Experience working with version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building data-driven applications or internal tools for business users
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, GCP)
  • Comfort working in Python-based environments to prototype, integrate, or support data and AI-driven experiences
  • Familiarity with design tools (Figma, Sketch)

The salary range for this role is $125,000 to $175,000 or the hourly equivalent.
