The Senior Media Specialist is a hands-on digital media expert responsible for creating, executing, optimizing, and analyzing complex multi-channel campaigns. This role combines deep platform expertise with strong analytical skills to drive performance across Google, Bing, AI-powered search.

The position also serves as a technical subject matter expert (SME), supporting client conversations, mentoring colleagues, and contributing to performance marketing capabilities and innovation. This role requires proven hands-on-keyboard expertise in sophisticated campaign management, and the ability to support strategic initiatives centered around multi-channel advertising.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Execution & Optimization

  • Build, launch, and manage campaigns- Google, Bing, AI-powered search
  • Configure advanced targeting, tracking, and attribution frameworks
  • Monitor campaign performance, pacing, and KPIs; execute ongoing optimizations (budget, bids, audiences, creative)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical campaign issues
  • Ensure high-quality campaign setup and execution standards

Performance Analysis & Testing

  • Analyze campaign performance -Google, Bing, AI-powered search
  • Develop insights and actionable recommendations
  • Design and execute testing frameworks (A/B, multivariate, incrementality)
  • Scale successful strategies and document best practices

Client & Stakeholder Support

  • Present performance insights and recommendations to clients in a clear, accessible way
  • Provide technical expertise on client calls and during media planning
  • Support proposal development with feasibility assessments and timelines

Platform & Technical Expertise

  • Stay current on platform changes, new features, and industry trends
  • Support platform evaluations, vendor engagement, and pilot programs
  • Contribute to technical integrations (APIs, tracking, data connections) in partnership with cross-functional teams

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

  • Partner with internal teams (Client Strategy, Data, IT, Creative, Compliance) to deliver campaign success
  • Develop and maintain documentation, SOPs, and training materials
  • Mentor and support team members on campaign execution and optimization

Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure campaigns comply with financial services regulations and data privacy requirements
  • Review campaign setups for risk and adherence to platform policies
  • Maintain compliance documentation and support audit processes

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or related field required
  • Advanced degree (MBA/Master’s) preferred but not required

Experience

  • 5–7 years of experience in digital media or performance marketing
  • Hands-on experience with Google, Bing, AI-powered search
  • Proven track record of campaign execution and performance optimization
  • Experience presenting to clients or senior stakeholders
  • Financial services marketing experience preferred
  • Experience with integrations, APIs, or MarTech stacks preferred

Additional Information

  • Reports To: VP, Account Services
  • Travel: Up to 10–25%
  • Work Environment: Hybrid/remote
  • Supervisory Responsibility: Individual contributor with mentorship responsibilities

Additional Information

Base salary range: $100,000-$130,000

The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.
