Logistics and Procurement Analyst (all genders)

Pittsburgh, PA | On-site / Hybrid

Full-time | Permanent

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

  • Build and develop logistics and procurement operations for OQEMA Inc. — you'll be the central interface between suppliers, customers, and internal teams
  • Manage the full order cycle in our ERP system (IFS): entry, monitoring, invoicing, goods receipts, and master data
  • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers; manage supplier relationships and contracts including bi-annual RFQs
  • Plan and optimize mixed container shipments from India and China — consolidating volumes across divisions to reduce freight and clearance costs
  • Handle import/export documentation, certificates of analysis, and shipping paperwork end-to-end
  • Coordinate with our third-party warehouse partners to help establish a scalable OQEMA Inc. supply chain
  • Support inventory management: replenishment planning, stock checks, and delivery date monitoring
  • Join the IFS ERP "Task Force" — contribute to system maintenance and staff training on procurement modules
  • Provide cross-functional coverage for team members and ensure business continuity during absences

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 5–10 years of experience in logistics, procurement, or customer service — preferably in chemicals, Flavors & Fragrances, or pharma
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field — or equivalent commercial training (freight forwarding, trade, operations)
  • Hands-on experience with an ERP system (IFS experience is a strong plus)
  • Solid MS Office and Excel skills; comfortable working with data and documentation
  • Experience with import/export processes and international freight coordination
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — you don't wait to be told what needs fixing
  • Strong communicator who thrives in cross-functional, multicultural teams
  • English fluency required; basic Spanish (A2) is a plus
  • Chemical or technical product understanding is a bonus, not a requirement
