Overview
Magnolia Hospitality Services is seeking an experienced and hands-on General Manager to lead operations at a Holiday Inn property in Brownsville, TX.
This role is responsible for overseeing daily hotel operations, driving guest satisfaction, supporting team development, and maintaining overall property performance. The ideal candidate brings strong operational leadership, hotel management experience, and the ability to lead in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services
- Lead and support hotel team members to ensure operational efficiency and guest satisfaction
- Monitor hotel performance, labor, and operational costs
- Ensure compliance with brand standards and company procedures
- Support revenue growth initiatives and market positioning efforts
- Maintain strong guest service standards and resolve operational issues as needed
- Work closely with department leaders to ensure smooth hotel operations
Qualifications
- Previous Hotel General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience required
- Minimum 2+ years in a GM or AGM role preferred
- IHG brand experience strongly preferred
- Hotel operations experience required
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
