CONTENT PRODUCER
PiggyBanx is a collaborative art studio in Costa Mesa making one-of-a-kind collectible works and keeping a permanent record of every piece we've ever made. We're hiring an in-house Content Producer to capture, and document the work — every piece, every release, every moment that needs to be on record.
This is a hands-on role for someone who shoots, edits, and ships. Working knowledge with luxury items (watches, vehicles, sculpture, art), glass, depth and motion are essential. You'll work in-studio under the direction of an enterprise CMO, alongside the artists, a motion graphic animator and the rest of the team, with the full support of a freelance bench for bigger productions.
Your output lives on the site, in the Archive, on the dashboard, in collector communications, and across our social channels- exceptional content management and organization is a must.
What you'll do
- Produce video and photo content for every piece the studio makes, to a consistent archival standard, for the permanent record. This is the foundation of the role.
- Shoot launch and campaign work — new releases, partnerships, studio moments, behind-the-scenes capture.
- Edit and finish your own work, from raw capture to delivery, across stills and short-form video.
- Maintain the studio's content system — file structure, naming, version control, and the standards that keep the Archive consistent over time.
- Develop work that supports Storytelling on what gets made and when, working from a shared content calendar.
- Driven social awareness informs each piece of content both long and short form, cultural understanding of trending media, audio.
- Cultural fluency is paramount for a studio who honors and memorializes landmark moments in pop culture, cinema, motorsports, streetwear, and athletics. Familiarity or passion for many or all of these things will help to ship work that lands in our customer voice. A background in or deep interest in media for gallery art will make you a stand-out candidate.
What you bring
- 3+ years of professional content production experience — agency, in-house, editorial, or studio.
- Real proficiency with product and object photography, especially reflective and dimensional surfaces. Lighting fundamentals you can explain, not just execute.
- Comfort with both stills and short-form video. A camera body in one hand and an NLE in the other.
- A working understanding of color, finish, and how to make a physical object look like itself on a screen.
- Editorial instincts — you can see the shot before you set up the shot.
- The temperament to work in an active studio. People are making things around you. The work is the priority; the ego isn't.
- Bonus: experience in collectibles, watches, jewelry, fine art documentation, or any category where the object is the story.
Logistics
- Full-time, in-studio in Costa Mesa, California. This is not a remote role. Our in-house studio will be your home as most content and all of our pieces are made in house.
- Reports to the Chief Marketing Officer.
- Compensation: commensurate with experience. Competitive Benefits package
- Start date: immediate
