Position Overview

Hawkins Interiors is seeking a talented Mid-Level Interior Designer with 3–5 years of

professional experience to join our studio on a part-time basis. This position requires advanced

AutoCAD proficiency and experience producing detailed drawing packages with minimal

oversight.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically skilled, and passionate about design. While

strong design sensibility is important, this role places significant emphasis on technical

documentation, project coordination, and translating design concepts into clear, accurate

construction documents.

We value designers who are equally excited by conceptual thinking, material exploration,

technical detailing, and emerging visualization technologies that help bring ideas to life.

Qualifications

Required

● Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related field.

● 3–5 years of professional interior design experience.

● Experience working on luxury residential projects.

● Advanced AutoCAD proficiency required.

● Strong understanding of construction documentation, residential detailing, and millwork

drawings.

● Ability to produce drawing packages independently and accurately.

● Proficiency in SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and Google Workspace.

● Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Schedule & Work Environment

● Part-time, approximately 20–30 hours per week.

● In-studio position based in Napa, California.

● Regular attendance in the studio is required to support team collaboration, project

coordination, and material reviews.
