Springdale, Arkansas | Up to $150,000 | On-site | Full-Time

A nationally recognised, top-ranked General Contractor is seeking a Lean Manager to join their Construction Support Services team in Springdale, Arkansas.

This is a project-facing role responsible for guiding Lean implementation across an active project portfolio, supporting production planning and control processes, and coaching project teams to drive continuous improvement across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Coach and mentor project teams on Lean implementation, sustainment, and best practices
  • Facilitate project startups, kick-off meetings, and After Action Reviews (AARs)
  • Conduct Lean assessments, compile metrics, analyse trends, and advise leadership on improvement opportunities
  • Develop and deliver internal and external training on Lean Construction principles and methodologies
  • Partner with operational teams to advance Lean strategy across planning, execution, safety, and quality
  • Support company-wide Lean initiatives, standards, and practitioner programmes
  • Facilitate workshops, events, and Communities of Practice
  • Advise leadership on Lean tool effectiveness and implementation

Requirements

  • Proven experience implementing Lean Construction methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of the Last Planner System
  • Commercial and/or industrial construction background
  • Experience managing projects from planning through completion
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and change management skills
  • Analytical and structured problem-solving mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • Certifications such as LCI-CPC, CM-Lean, or Lean Six Sigma
  • Experience with Touchplan or similar collaborative planning platforms
  • Competency in Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, A3 Problem Solving, DMAIC, or 5S
  • Experience with prefabrication or modularisation programmes
