Product Marketing Manager - Power Sports

The Product Marketing Manager - Power Sports will own product positioning, go-to-market strategy, and demand generation for our powersports product line. This role sits at the intersection of product, sales, and marketing and will translate technical product capabilities into clear customer value that drives awareness, consideration, and sell-through across dealer, retail, and direct channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Positioning and Messaging
- Define clear value propositions, messaging frameworks, and product narratives for powersports products.
- Create product one-pagers, spec sheets, sell sheets, and technical briefs that resonate with dealers, installers, and end users.
- Go-to-Market Planning
- Develop and execute GTM plans for new product launches and major feature updates.
- Coordinate launch timing, channel enablement, promotional calendars, and cross-functional readiness checks.
- Channel Enablement and Training
- Build training programs and sales enablement materials for dealers, distributors, and retail partners.
- Deliver live and recorded training sessions, demo scripts, and installation guides.
- Demand Generation and Campaigns
- Plan and run product-focused campaigns across digital, social, email, and trade channels to drive awareness and conversion.
- Collaborate with creative and content teams to produce product videos, how-to content, and customer-facing assets.
- Market and Customer Insight
- Conduct competitive analysis, dealer feedback sessions, and customer research to inform product roadmaps and marketing priorities.
- Translate technical features into consumer benefits and use cases.
- Sales Support and Field Enablement
- Support key account pursuits, distributor negotiations, and trade show presence.
- Provide on-site or virtual support for major dealer rollouts and channel activations.
- Performance Measurement
- Define KPIs for product launches and campaigns; track metrics such as awareness, lead generation, conversion, and sell-through.
- Use data to iterate on messaging, pricing, and promotional tactics.
What Success Looks Like in 6-12 Months
- A successful launch of at least one new powersports product with measurable sell-through lift.
- Dealer and distributor enablement materials completed and adopted by key partners.
- At least one high-impact campaign that increases product consideration and leads to measurable channel growth.
- Documented competitive positioning and a prioritized list of product improvements informed by customer feedback.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of product marketing experience in consumer electronics, powersports, automotive, or adjacent categories.
- Strong technical fluency with audio systems or related hardware; ability to translate specs into customer benefits.
- Proven experience launching products and managing cross-functional GTM plans.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable creating content and presenting to internal and external audiences.
- Experience with channel marketing and dealer/distributor enablement.
- Proficiency with analytics and marketing tools to measure campaign performance and product KPIs.
- Willingness to travel for trade shows, partner meetings, and field visits.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in powersports channels, specialty retailers, or OEM partnerships.
- Hands-on experience producing product videos or appearing on camera for demos.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms, marketing automation, and analytics dashboards.
- Passion for audio and practical knowledge of installation and tuning.
