Job title: OCM Lead

Location: Santa Clara, CA (100% Onsite)

Duration: 06 Months (Possibility of Extension)

Pay rate: $116.19/hr. on W2

Duties

Overview

Client's Digital Transformation Group (DTG) is running multiple high-priority, high-velocity programs simultaneously — spanning enterprise technology transformation, product launches, and operational modernization. We're looking for a Contract OCM Lead who can hit the ground running, manage complexity without handholding, and deliver rigorous change management across concurrent initiatives in one of the fastest-paced digital transformation environments in the industry.

This is not a role for someone who needs a clearly scoped, single-track workstream. This is a role for someone who thrives on ambiguity, adapts quickly when priorities shift, and brings sharp analytical thinking to every stage of the change lifecycle.

What You'll Do

● Own OCM strategy and execution across multiple concurrent high-priority programs simultaneously, from discovery through stabilization

● Lead comprehensive stakeholder analyses — identifying impacted groups, mapping influence and sentiment, defining engagement strategies, and tracking shifts over time

● Conduct and iterate on change impact assessments (CIAs) aligned to program milestones; translate complex technical changes into clear, business-relevant impact narratives for each audience

● Rapidly assess inflight programs, identify OCM gaps, and independently build and execute a plan to close them — with minimal ramp time

● Drive stakeholder engagement across cross-functional teams including business leaders, program managers, and technical SMEs; align stakeholders on key messages, risks, and change readiness

● Design and deliver multi-channel communications (emails, FAQs, Slack posts, talking points, leadership briefings) that distill highly technical content into plain, actionable language for non-technical audiences

● Identify training and enablement needs; defi ne appropriate formats and coordinate with SMEs to ensure impacted teams are prepared and confident

● Build and support change agent networks to reinforce change at the team level

● Track readiness, adoption, and feedback metrics across programs; proactively surface risks and adjust OCM tactics to drive outcomes

● Operate within an Agile/SAFe delivery model, aligning OCM activities to PI planning cycles and sprint-level execution without losing strategic perspective

Skills

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

Non-Negotiable

● 7+ years of organizational change management experience, with a demonstrated track record supporting large-scale, cross-functional technology transformation programs

● Proven ability to support multiple simultaneous programs — not just a single dedicated workstream — with strong personal organization and prioritization under pressure

● Deep expertise in OCM analysis activities: stakeholder identification and analysis, change impact assessments, readiness tracking, and resistance management — with the ability to lead these rigorously and iterate quickly

● Exceptional ability to absorb highly technical information and translate it into clear, non-technical communications and guidance tailored to diverse audiences

● Strong command of OCM methodologies (Prosci/ADKAR, Kotter, or similar) applied pragmatically, not academically

● Experience joining programs mid-stream and independently driving high-quality OCM execution without a long onboarding runway

● Demonstrated ability to operate in agile, fast-moving, ambiguous environments where priorities shift and structure is earned, not given — and to not just survive that environment but genuinely thrive in it

Preferred

Experience in enterprise digital transformation, ERP, or SaaS/platform implementation programs

● Familiarity with SAFe or other scaled agile frameworks

● Prosci or CCMP certification

What Success Looks Like

● Programs you support have clearly defined stakeholder maps, current impact assessments, and active communications and readiness plans within your first 30 days

● Business leaders and program teams view you as a trusted, embedded partner — not an overhead function

● Technical content is consistently and accurately translated into audience-appropriate messaging with no significant misalignment or re-work required

● Adoption risks are identified early and addressed proactively, not reactively

● You operate with high autonomy, requiring direction on priorities — not on execution
