Role Overview
We’re seeking a high-energy, curious, and resourceful Recruiter to hire exceptional handypeople nationwide. This role involves proactive sourcing, building scalable systems, and leveraging AI tools (including Claude) to optimize recruitment. No prior recruiting experience is required; we value curiosity, energy, and drive.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting to hire 10+ handypeople per month nationally.
- Build and maintain a high-volume candidate pipeline through creative sourcing.
- Implement AI-powered screening and outreach tools to accelerate hiring.
- Experiment with new sourcing channels to identify effective strategies for tradespeople.
- Ensure a fast, warm, and professional candidate experience from first contact to onboarding.
Day-to-Day Tasks
- Source candidates and screen resumes on platforms like Indeed and Craigslist.
- Engage candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Draft and update job postings; maintain ATS (Ashby) accuracy.
- Coordinate interviews, collect feedback, and align hiring managers.
- Build and run AI workflows (Claude) to automate repetitive sourcing and screening.
- Support offers, onboarding, and close the loop on each hire.
Candidate Profile
- Enthusiastic about building processes from scratch and improving them weekly.
- Comfortable with high-volume work (e.g., making 50+ calls daily).
- Quick to adopt new tools, especially AI, and apply them to real-world problems.
- Resourceful problem-solver who finds alternative solutions independently.
- Clear, warm, and collaborative communicator.
- No experience required; we provide training. We prioritize energy, optimism, and grit.
