Qualifications
- Valid California teaching credential
- Five years of successful classroom experience and/or school support
- Successful experience and training in educational technology, assessment and accountability
- Demonstrated experience in training adults in the areas of assessment, and data analysis
- Comprehensive knowledge of applicable state and federal testing
REPORTS TO: Administrators as Assigned
JOB GOAL: To facilitate the coordination of programs at the District Level and to assist school staff in implementing programs which will provide Gifted Students in the district with educational opportunities of consistently high standard in line with the district's vision, mission, and values
Performance Responsibilities
- Provides assistance and information to school and district staff state and local assessments
- Supports implementation, and coordination of the district's assessment and accountability program to meet the needs of the district's diverse population
- Plans and provides support for a comprehensive system of testing and assessments related to federal, state, and local mandates focusing on high standards of student achievement
- Assists in the analyses of federal, state, and district assessment data and the interpretation and reporting of results
- Supports the collection of data for the School Accountability Report Card requirements for the district
- Serves and participates on district committees and performs related tasks
- Provides leadership and collaborates with site administration regarding the assessment of student progress and educational program effectiveness
- Collaborates with departments across the district
- Models personal and professional values of equity, integrity, caring, collaboration, and personal and collective accountability
- Performs other duties as assigned
SALARY: $76,918- $150,033 annually (214 days, maximum salary includes educational stipends)
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the District's "Improvement of Professional Services" handbook, Board Policies and Procedures and consistent with collective bargaining agreements when applicable

Conditions Of Employment
Some positions may require proof of privately owned automobile insurance and the possession of a valid California Motor Vehicle operator's license. Fingerprint clearance by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met. Must present verification of completion of Child Abuse Mandated Reporter training or obtain verification within six (6) weeks of hire and annually thereafter, as required by the California Child Abuse Neglect Reporting Act.
