Role Description

This is a full-time remote NDT Field role focused on providing high-quality non-destructive inspections for Aerospace and Defense customers. The NDT Field professional will perform onsite and offsite inspections using various methods (such as Ultrasonic, Radiographic, Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant, Eddy Current, and Visual) in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and customer specifications. Daily responsibilities include preparing test setups, interpreting and documenting inspection results, generating clear and accurate reports, and communicating findings to internal teams and clients. The role will also support troubleshooting of complex inspection issues, adherence to safety procedures, and continuous improvement of testing processes. Collaboration with certified inspectors, participation in ongoing training, and occasional travel to customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to interpret test results, evaluate indications, and support sound technical decisions.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills to explain findings, interact with clients, and collaborate with internal teams in a professional manner.
  • Troubleshooting skills to identify root causes of inspection issues, equipment problems, and process deviations and recommend practical solutions.
  • Ability to provide and receive training, including following detailed procedures, maintaining certifications, and supporting knowledge transfer within the team.
  • Previous experience in non-destructive testing, preferably in Aerospace or Defense environments, with familiarity in methods such as UT, RT, MT, PT, EC, VT, or related techniques.
  • Relevant NDT certifications (e.g., ASNT Level II or equivalent) or progress toward certification are strongly preferred.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, with the ability to follow written procedures and work instructions precisely.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote field environment, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing customer needs and schedules.
