Description Of Duties/Essential Functions

Participates in an agency-sponsored training program of a six to twenty-four month duration. Receives work assignments designed to develop knowledge, understanding and practical skills consonant with the various elements of the human resources program and its process. Receives controlled assignments involving the completion of work tasks of increasing difficulty and responsibility. Targeted title: Human Resources Representative, Human Resources Specialist, Administrative Assistant I, Administrative Assistant II, Executive I, Executive II, Staff Development Specialist I.

Minimum Requirements

Requires Bachelor's degree with major course work in public administration, political science or a related field. Requires experience with the application of public administration tenents such might have been attained in collegiate organizations, volunteer participation or by employment. Also requires skills, professional writing experience and demonstrated ability to write with clarity, consistency and effectiveness. Requires extensive experience in using personal computer software-WordPerfect for windows.
