Enrollment Specialist

Crossover

Remote

Success in this role depends on your ability to establish trust with a parent within the opening moments of a conversation. This position suits someone who thrives on outreach, maintains disciplined follow-up, and can articulate a non-traditional learning model without depending on prepared scripts. If phone-based communication feels uncomfortable or you prefer work without transparent performance tracking, this role will not align with your strengths.

Unbound Academy operates as a virtual, tuition-free public charter school that offers students an alternative educational model. Core academics are completed in concentrated time blocks with AI-supported instruction, followed by project-based learning and enrichment activities that build practical skills. Your function is to serve as the first substantive contact point for families considering this educational path.

Your week will involve responding promptly to incoming inquiries, shepherding families through the admissions sequence, and transitioning them from curiosity to completed enrollment. You will also serve as Unbound Academy's representative at community events to cultivate new leads and expand local awareness. During quieter enrollment periods, you will support broader school operations while remaining prepared for the next admissions cycle.

If you seek a position where your communication discipline, follow-through, and accountability translate directly into student enrollment outcomes, we would like to speak with you.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Reaching out to new inbound leads within a 24-hour window and launching admissions discussions via phone
  • Articulating Unbound Academy's virtual model and enrollment procedures using straightforward, accessible language
  • Maintaining disciplined follow-up to advance families from inquiry through application to final enrollment
  • Recording all engagement in a CRM with precise notes, defined next actions, and current pipeline status
  • Planning and facilitating local recruitment events in Texas or Arizona to showcase the school and acquire new leads

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Allowing inbound leads to remain unaddressed while prioritizing administrative tasks
  • Adhering to inflexible scripts or functioning like a high-throughput call center
  • Participating in events without actively presenting or proactively generating leads
  • Dedicating most of your time to back-office duties during periods of active enrollment demand
