Student Assistant - USC Setup Crew

A Set Up Crew provides the setup of furnishings for all events that take place in the University Student Center, Student Life Center, Harborwalk, and other various locations on campus. The Set Up Crew must work with clients, focusing on guest service and supporting any last-minute needs for the success of the client’s function. Positions are appointed on a semesterly basis.
Responsibilities and Duties
Complete required setups for daily events
Complete walkthroughs of all spaces managed by the Student Center & Events (SCE) office to straighten out furnishings, reset each area, and inspect spaces & furnishings.
Must have the ability to lift up to 20 lbs unassisted (reasonable accommodations can be made).
Ability to work with others to accomplish tasks.
Act as a liaison between SCE and the client for last minute set-up modifications.
Clean and organize A/V rooms, linen closets, and storage rooms on a daily basis.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Building Manager or SCE Leadership Staff .
