Population Health Informaticist (AI Training)

About The Role

We're partnering with leading AI research teams to build smarter, more accurate health AI — and we need population health experts to help shape it. As a Population Health Informaticist, you'll apply your real-world expertise to evaluate, annotate, and improve AI systems working with large-scale health data.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. You set your schedule and work on your own terms.

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate AI-generated outputs related to population health data, analytics, and public health strategy for accuracy and quality
  • Apply your expertise to assess how well AI handles population-level metrics, health disparities, and epidemiological trends
  • Identify gaps, errors, or misleading interpretations in AI-generated health insights
  • Provide structured, expert feedback to help AI systems reason more accurately about community health data
  • Review and annotate dashboards, data pipelines, and reporting frameworks generated or described by AI tools
  • Translate your domain knowledge into clear, actionable evaluations that directly improve AI performance

Who You Are

  • Experienced working with healthcare, public health, or population-level datasets
  • Strong analytical thinker with a solid grasp of epidemiology, health metrics, or biostatistics
  • Comfortable evaluating data visualizations, dashboards, and reporting outputs
  • Able to communicate complex findings clearly and concisely in writing
  • Self-directed, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working asynchronously in a remote environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data annotation, quality review, or evaluation systems
  • Background in public health informatics, health IT, or clinical data management
  • Familiarity with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QGIS, or similar platforms
  • Prior work in health equity, chronic disease surveillance, or community health programs
