Position Overview
The Regional Manager has overall responsibility for dealership performance and operations. In addition, the position will coordinate the efforts of the Regional and Area Team in all related matters to market representation, dealership profitability and customer relationship management for their respective Region. Additionally the Regional Manager will be responsible for the planning and achievement of new and pre-owned vehicle objectives as well as the development of marketing initiatives within his/her assigned regional area. The Regional Manager will directly manage the Regional AfterSales Manager and has direct oversight to achieve the regional qualitative and quantitative AfterSales goals. The candidate must be located in the Atlanta, GA area.
Roles & Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities:
- Responsible for the achievement of regional vehicle retail and pre-owned sales.
- Counsel dealers in planning and developing Corporate Identity (CI) advertising, merchandising and promotional activities determined for specific market activity.
- Develop and implement a market representation plan to ensure dealer placement and CI facility requirements are met with the assistance of the Area Retail Development Manager.
- Responsible for the development and implementation of the annual dealer business plan review process and Annual Business Plan (ABP). Ensure PCNA Best Business Practices and Dealer Operating Standards are addressed and overall dealer business financial guidelines are met. This includes ongoing consultation and documentation of the implementation of dealer action plans addressed through the Field Contact Reporting System.
- Coordinate and ensure that dealership sales personnel maintain monthly PCNA sales certification through PPN and off-site PCNA sales events for improved product knowledge and selling techniques.
- Conduct monthly meetings with Regional Team to ensure all performance areas are addressed and maintained. Assume overall responsibility of regional performance.
- Maintain consistent and timely response of dealership review and input to Area Vice President through the Porsche Field Contact Reporting System.
- Review budgetary process for expense management.
- Ensures implementation and documentation of fair & equitable distribution of production to enhance the overall regional sales turn and days supply.
- Responsible for regional parts objectives.
- Oversee the overall customer satisfaction within the region.
- Responsible for assisting the Area Retail Development Manager with dealer development activities and business management standards.
- Responsible for the proper usage of, awareness of, and compliance with Information Technology security policies at Porsche Cars North America.
- Seeks to ensure proper retention of electronic documents, business confidential information, and actively demonstrates an understanding of the need to safeguard competitive information in both electronic and non-electronic formats.

Education
- College degree required, MBA preferred.
Experience
- 10+ years experience in the areas of automotive wholesale sales, marketing, market representation and/or business management. Retail automotive experience a plus.
- Previous field experience (in-dealership contacts) required.
- Parts and service background preferred.
Skills
- High level of written, oral communication/presentation and sales forecasting skills.
- Ability to develop and articulate an operational strategy for regional team and assigned dealers.
- Superior computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to effectively negotiate or mediate difficult situations.
- Leadership skills to coordinate and implement regional/area initiatives.
- Varying amounts of overnight travel is required/participation in special events (auto shows/dealer-customer events) during evenings/weekends may be required.

The salary range for this role is $160,000-$185,000. However, it is important to note that at Porsche, compensation range is dependent on geographic location. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skillset. Porsche reports compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness.

Physical Requirements
- This job operates in an automotive dealership and office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This position will also have frequent work in an automotive dealership facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, sit, stand, move, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
