About The Role
Were seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer that designs, develops, tests, and improves mechanical systems, components, and equipment used in manufacturing operations. This role supports reliability, safety, and efficiency initiatives while collaborating with crossfunctional teams to optimize production performance and reduce downtime.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and modify mechanical systems, components, fixtures, and equipment
Create and maintain mechanical drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation
Troubleshoot mechanical issues on production machinery, tooling, and automation systems.
Perform rootcause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions
Support installation, commissioning, and validation of new mechanical equipment
Conduct mechanical testing, tolerance analysis, and performance evaluations
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Collaborate with electrical, quality, and production teams to improve equipment reliability
Manage mechanical engineering projects including scope, timelines, and vendor coordination
Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements for efficiency and cost reduction
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related field
2-5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments
Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar)
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, GDandT, materials, and manufacturing processes
Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, rotating equipment, and mechanical assemblies
Ability to perform engineering calculations and tolerance stackups
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Key Competencies
