Stern & Mauck, LLC is an estate planning, elder law and probate law firm located in the vibrant Kansas City metro area. Outside of business hours, the firm is involved in community events and charitable initiatives, further reinforcing its commitment to the Kansas City metro community. We are seeking a team member who can resonate with the firm's family-oriented and client-centric approach.

As the Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the firm's social media presence, coordinating educational workshops and seminars, and supporting marketing initiatives that enhance the firm's visibility and community relationships. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Creating, scheduling, and publishing content across social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels
  • Monitoring social media engagement and responding to comments and messages as appropriate
  • Tracking analytics and providing regular reports on social media performance
  • Planning, organizing, and executing estate planning workshops and seminars
  • Coordinating workshop logistics, including venue setup, registrations, materials, and attendee communications
  • Tracking attendance and follow-up opportunities
  • Managing relationships with referral partners and community organizations
  • Providing general administrative support as needed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client service
  • Event planning skills, including organizing seminars, workshops, or community events, managing logistics, and coordinating onsite support
  • Writing skills for marketing collateral, website content, social media posts, and email campaigns, with attention to tone and accuracy
  • Project management abilities to plan, prioritize, and track multiple marketing initiatives, meet deadlines, and collaborate across teams
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools (e.g., social media platforms, Canva, email marketing systems, basic analytics) is preferred
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a client-focused, confidential environment

Pay: $35,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Four-day workweek (Mon-Thurs) (7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.)
  • Availability to work approximately two evening workshops per month is required
