Collaborates with stakeholders to streamline processes related to employment needs and requirements of GME staff, faculty, and residents. Develops and implements orientation programs for new residents and fellows. Maintains and standardizes faculty and resident HR files to ensure compliance with employment requirements. Oversees accurate processing of payroll, faculty bonus processing, employee change forms, and other HR-related documentation. Other duties as assigned. Collaborates with leadership team to ensure effective daily operations of all services within the Graduate Medical Education (GME) Office. Supervises and directs coordinators and other administrative staff. Facilitates information flow within the GME Office, residency and fellowship programs, and external departments to ensure effective communication. Designs and implements office policies consistent with accreditation standards and organizational policies. Ensures accreditation readiness for self-study, site visits, Annual Program Evaluation, Special Reviews, and Annual Institutional Review. Develops and implements innovative computerized systems to ensure ongoing compliance with accreditation standards. Monitors spending and develops trends to ensure GME Office and training programs remain within budgetary constraints. Participates in strategic planning and development of expanding current GME programs or adding new programs.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in understandable terms to all levels of staff [Required]
  • Effective computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Suite [Required]
  • Ability to work in a matrix-management environment to achieve organizational goals [Required]
  • Keen understanding of ACGME and/or AOA accreditation requirements. [Required]
  • Ability to successfully investigate, develop and/or implement solutions for regulatory demands [Required]
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with several customers needing attention simultaneously [Required]
  • Working knowledge of Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accreditation requirements [Preferred]
  • Ability to serve as a mentor and coach to GME staff [Preferred]

Pay Range

$54,230.45 - $100,875.88
