Finance Manager

A growing contract manufacturing company in the food, beverage, and CPG space is hiring a Finance Manager to serve as a strategic financial partner and a senior set of eyes across a newly unified, multi-entity manufacturing platform.

This is not a day-to-day bookkeeping role. You'll partner closely with three Corporate Controllers who manage daily accounting, while you provide elevated oversight across consolidation, compliance, forecasting, and risk management, reporting directly to the VP of Finance.

On-site, Elgin, IL (infrequent travel to other sites)

$120,000–$130,000 + discretionary bonus

What You'll Do

• Lead month-end close across a multi-entity, multi-location structure in NetSuite
• Consolidate Canadian and domestic subsidiary financials across 15+ locations
• Ensure GAAP compliance, including manufacturing accounting standards and burden absorption
• Prepare board packages, lender reporting, and covenant compliance documentation
• Serve as primary point of contact for external auditors
• Drive annual budgeting and build rolling forecasts (revenue, COGS, EBITDA, contribution margin)
• Manage cash flow, treasury, banking relationships, and capital allocation analysis
• Mitigate risk across raw material pricing, supply chain, and FX exposure (CAD/USD)
• Design internal controls, including NetSuite permissions and procurement workflows

What You Bring

• 5–7+ years of progressive financial management experience
• Manufacturing experience required — contract manufacturing or high-volume standard manufacturing
• Hands-on experience with Bill of Materials (BOM) and complex cost accounting (standard costing, variance analysis, overhead allocation)
• Experience with consolidated, multi-entity financial reporting
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• CPA strongly preferred; CFA or CMA also valued
• ERP experience required; NetSuite experience a strong plus (implementation in progress)
• Comfortable working fully on-site in Elgin, IL
