Job Summary

Central Plains Steel, a division of Feralloy, is hiring a Preventative Maintenance Technician to support equipment upkeep across Plant 1 and Plant 2 while assisting with general warehouse operations.

Job Function

  • Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on production equipment
  • Inspect equipment and identify potential issues
  • Read and interpret manuals and work orders
  • Use hand/power tools and maintenance equipment
  • Support warehouse operations (material handling, pulling orders, packaging)
  • Operate forklifts, cranes, and yard trucks
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace

Required Skills

    • Valid driver’s license
    • 0–5 years of experience (maintenance or warehouse)
    • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in varying temperatures
    • Basic math, measurement, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong teamwork and communication skills
    Preferred:
    • Maintenance or material handling experience
    • High School Diploma or GED
