The role

We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our growth equity investing team. You will work directly with firm leadership on sourcing, evaluating, and executing investments across the most consequential technology sectors of our time. This is a high-ownership role with real exposure to investment decisions, founder relationships, and firm strategy from day one. The role splits time across New York, Washington DC, and San Francisco — and requires someone who is equally comfortable in a boardroom, on a diligence call with a defense contractor, and at a founder dinner.

What you'll do

• Source and evaluate investment opportunities across AI, defense, energy, space, and adjacent technology sectors
• Lead financial modeling, market research, and comprehensive diligence on prospective investments
• Author investment memos and contribute to investment decisions alongside firm leadership
• Build and maintain relationships with founders, management teams, co-investors, and industry experts at the frontier of technology
• Develop deep sector expertise and a genuine, informed point of view on where markets are heading
• Support portfolio companies with strategic advice, introductions, and access to the firm's network
• Contribute to firm-wide initiatives — recruiting, events, and the development of the investment platform

What we look for

• AI-native by instinct — you use AI tools across your research, writing, and analysis workflow today, not as an experiment
• 3–6 years of experience at a top-tier investment bank, growth equity or venture capital firm, or management consulting firm with meaningful technology coverage
• A genuine, informed point of view on AI, defense, energy, or space — built through real work, not familiarity
• The ability to build a financial model from scratch, pressure-test an assumption, and defend a thesis under scrutiny
• Exceptional written and verbal communication — you can write a crisp memo and command a room
• A demonstrated passion for technology investing and the sectors shaping American competitiveness
• A history of competing and winning at the highest level — in markets, in sport, in whatever arena you have chosen
• The drive to operate with urgency and independence in an environment that rewards conviction over consensus
• A degree from a rigorous academic institution

Compensation

Competitive base and performance bonus commensurate with experience. Co-investment rights across the firm's full portfolio — venture, private equity, real estate, and public markets.
