Business Analyst II – On-site (Milwaukee)

We are hiring a Business Analyst II on behalf of a valued partner in the manufacturing sector. This is an exciting opportunity for a mid-level business analyst who enjoys solving complex operational challenges, improving systems, and driving meaningful business improvements through technology.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys collaborating across departments, and has hands-on experience with ERP and CRM platforms. You will play a key role in gathering requirements, optimizing business processes, supporting enterprise systems, and delivering solutions that improve operational efficiency.

What You’ll Do

As a Business Analyst II, you will work closely with business leaders, technical teams, and end users to identify needs, define solutions, and ensure systems align with business goals.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead requirements gathering for small to mid-sized projects across multiple departments
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to understand business needs and process gaps
• Translate business requirements into clear documentation and actionable system improvements
• Support and optimize enterprise applications including ERP, CRM, and other core business systems
• Configure system workflows, user permissions, and business process automation
• Assist with system customizations, reporting, and integrations across platforms
• Support software QA activities including test planning, validation, and deployment readiness
• Create reports and dashboards to support decision-making and performance tracking
• Train end users and provide ongoing support for system enhancements and issue resolution
• Maintain documentation for workflows, configurations, and integrations
• Partner with stakeholders to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who combines strong business analysis skills with technical understanding and excellent stakeholder management.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 2 to 5 years of experience in business analysis or similar roles
• Experience managing small to medium-sized cross-functional projects
• Strong understanding of ERP and CRM systems
• Experience gathering and documenting requirements across multiple departments
• Knowledge of software QA practices and software development lifecycle
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
• Experience in manufacturing or similar operational environments

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with Infor CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine)
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
• SQL experience for reporting or system customization
• Experience with system integrations and data flow documentation
• Reporting experience using Microsoft Power BI or similar tools
• Knowledge of master data management or governance
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts and EDI systems
