Salary: $90,000 - 100,000/yr
Schedule: Office hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with evenings as required and rotating on-call availability.
CWD Group is looking for an Assistant General Manager for one of its high-rise condominium properties located in Downtown Seattle. This role Reports to the General Manager.
Summary
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) directly supervises Lead Concierges and all department leads. This role oversees the direct implementation and overall operation of all building services and priorities set by the General Manager, the Board of Directors and Business Association Manager, including development and oversight of all staff members. The AGM works closely with the General Manager, the Chief Engineer, and all staff members to ensure proper staff to maintain high-service levels to the membership.
This role performs managerial tasks and direction to assist in the administration and coordination of all activities throughout the condominium operations. This position ensures the smooth operation and interrelation of each department. Provides detailed analysis and reporting for the General Manager and Board.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Participates in all hiring, training, performance, and is directly responsible for all timecard approval and scheduling for on-site staff. Responsible for payroll review, management, and correction.
- Supervision and oversight of the Concierge staff directly and via delegation to the Lead Concierges, to ensure the efficient and effective provision of all Concierge services. Work at Concierge desk as needed.
- Special Project Management at the direction of the GM.
- Community Special Events - Planning resident engagement and execution of special events, meetings, and socials.
- Management liaison to the Social Committee, by attending regular meetings; planning and overseeing events.
- Direct overall responsibility for site cleanliness and maintenance, as delegated to the appropriate departments.
- Produce and manage the provision of the management report containing a summary of all operational events by category, and all incidents reflected in the week’s incident reports.
- Communication with residents via e-mail and phone and through the Concierge Bulletin. Manage all complaints and follow-up in a timely manner.
- Provide coverage for administrative team during absences (inbox management; compliance, rental docs, ACC processing).
- Attend Committee Meetings, Board Work Sessions and Meetings, Town Halls often after hours and on weekends.
- Be available on a regular rotation to handle emergency on-call, primarily over the phone.
- Ensure that all onsite operating procedures (SOP’s) are kept up to date and distributed to the team.
Qualifications and Abilities
- Requires experience in residential property and staff management.
- Degree and experience in business, high-end hospitality and management is preferred.
- Prior experience as a facility manager or Chef Concierge for a condominium community, building service coordinator or five plus years’ experience as a staff supervisor.
- Established experience with vendor coordination and annual budget
- Must be a clear communicator; written orally, and via the computer; and be able to work with a variety of people including owners, residents, the general public, property staff, property management, contractors, and service providers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Must be well groomed and professional in appearance. Must be able to meet the required uniform standards.
- Must have experience and the ability to train and supervise the staff and outside contractors engaged in the building.
- Must be computer-literate and able to efficiently and effectively utilize word processing programs and spreadsheets to communicate with owners, property managers and staff and generate reports, worksheets, and other documents; must be proficient with email; must be familiar with the internet and market research techniques; and must have the ability to easily and confidently monitor and address issues with building systems and access device, including those imposed by CWD for the uniform management of payroll and scheduling, or any other necessary initiative.
- Must be able to earn and maintain required professional certifications and licenses, as required.
- Must be capable of walking through the building, standing for long periods, and leading often active building walkthroughs and inspections amounting sometimes to thousands of steps per day, including up and down stairwells.
- Must be able to do heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.), maneuvering, and physical work such as cleaning, sweeping, carrying deliveries, supplies, etc.
