Hourly Rate Potential Up to $30.42

Job Summary: The Nevada Beverage Company Driver assures timely delivery of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic products to numerous accounts on assigned route ensuring proper procedures are followed during the delivery process. This is a bargaining unit position.

Essential Responsibilities including but not limited to

  • Delivery of all products to accounts on assigned route
  • Storing products in account correctly. This includes storage rooms, coolers and stocking shelves when required
  • Rotation of products pursuant to policies and procedures
  • Collection of checks or money due

Additional Responsibilities may vary

  • Must perform walk around truck inspections as required
  • Must check fluids on truck daily
  • Trucks must be counted down (side bays once a day)
  • Completion of paperwork
  • Report opportunities or concerns to supervisor
  • Attend meetings as required
  • Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of company vehicle

Must possess a Nevada class “A” license. A good driving record is imperative as is the ability to work safely as this position is safety sensitive. The Driver must have the ability to read an invoice and make correct deliveries following the invoice. Good customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a positive manner with customers including the ability to explain an invoice or a bill plus good communication and customer service to fellow employees and managers is very important. The Driver is exposed to heat, cold. wind and rain, must be able to work independently and handle problems and make decisions about situations that arise during the day. The Driver must be able to use an electric pallet jack, a 2-wheeler, and a handheld computer. Must be able to speak, understand and write the English language. A valid, Driver’s License is required along with a good driving record. The Driver’s License must be always maintained. Must have knowledge of basic computer applications. Must attend all required Anheuser-Busch and Nevada Beverage Company training courses. Physical requirements include the ability to push/pull a pallet jack with up to 2500 pounds of weight, the ability to use a hand truck with up to 300 pounds of weight, the ability to continuously move product weighing 20-150 pounds throughout the course of a 8 -10 hour shift. In addition, there is frequent twisting, bending, turning, squatting, reaching, pulling and pushing.

This job is an entry-level position requiring a high school diploma. Prior beverage industry experience is required. Class A CDL License required.
